Whoo’s Going to Help?
Membership Drive

Sequoia’s PTA is having a membership drive in November. The goal is to get 15 PTA members from each class. The intermediate and primary class with the most PTA members will win a brownie party hosted by Ms. Hollander.

See how your class is doing! There will be a Sequoia tree posted in the cafeteria. Each branch on the tree represents a classroom and owls will represent the number of PTA members.

Please visit the front office for more information and a membership form.

PTA Membership

Please join the PTA. The cost is $6 per person. A portion of the money goes to funding assemblies, field trips, and supplies for the classrooms. Just come to the office or ask your child’s teacher how to join! Thank you!

What is the PTA?

The Parent Teacher Association is all of us together:  Parents, guardians, students, family members, neighbors, Sequoia staff, the principal, and the teachers. The nominal yearly dues provide you with membership in the California State PTA and adds to our local programs.

What does the PTA do?

I don’t have time to get involved

You can pick the level of involvement that meets your schedule and needs. It doesn’t take much to make a difference. Remember, every hour spent on a PTA activity, including attending PTA meetings, supports Sequoia.
